A meeting in progress at Ventura Elks Lodge #1430.

Walk through the doors at Ventura Elks Lodge #1430 on Knoll Drive and you'll notice something immediately: people actually know each other here. Members greet newcomers by name, bartenders remember your order, and the lounge buzzes with the kind of easy conversation that's getting harder to find anywhere else. Rated 4.6 stars by the people who actually show up, this lodge earns that score through genuine warmth, not marketing.

The lodge has a long record of rolling out the welcome mat for veterans and active service members, and that reputation travels. From golf buddies wrapping up a round at a nearby course to vets looking for a room full of people who get it, Lodge #1430 draws a crowd that's proud of where it comes from and where it's going.

This is a place run by members who put in the hours. The officers and volunteers keep the calendar full, the bar stocked, and the mission alive: caring for Ventura's own while honoring the national Elks commitment to community, charity, and country.

What We Offer

The lounge at Lodge #1430 is the social heartbeat of the operation. Pull up a stool, order something cold, and let the bartenders, widely called the best in the lodge system by members who've visited chapters across California, take care of the rest. Food is on the menu too, solid and satisfying, the kind of honest fare that keeps the golf crew coming back after every round.

Beyond the bar, the lodge hosts community events, fundraisers, and programs that funnel real support into Ventura families and local charities. Veterans' outreach is a particular point of pride: the lodge actively supports service members and their families through programs tied to the national Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks mission.

Membership opens the door to private events, meeting rooms, and a calendar packed with social gatherings year-round. Whether you're exploring membership or attending as a guest of a current member, 2126 Knoll Dr is the address to know.

"Great Elks Lodge. The members are the nicest you will ever meet in California. It has a very accomadating lounge and the best bartenders. The Officers and Members work their tail off to make sure their lodge helps the Veterans as well as Children in need, and they in turn have fun doing it! Love this place!!"

"Very accommodating in this time of covid. They let me leave my trailer for 3 days until my reservations for Carpenteria state beach came up instead of having to travel back to L. A. to retreave it for the week with my daughter and grandson. I really appreciate the ELKS OF VENTURA. Thankyou. Elk member of Pasadena Lodge 672."

"It is for members only, but you can bring guests. They have meals many nights a week, that are very reasonably priced. Money is raised for scholarships, veterans, etc. There is also a hall for rent in case you need something for a wedding, an anniversary, a funeral service, or a large meeting. Visiting members from other lodges may dry park their r.v. in the parking lot for a couple of nights at a donation."

Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
